It’s a huge award for a third-year digital cinematography student at Canadore College in North Bay. Jason Manella is one of three winners from around the world to win the prestigious Jameson First Shot Film Competition. Judges looked at two thousand submissions and picked Manella’s script as one of the top three. The competition was created to give emerging filmmakers a way to break into the movie industry. Manella is now in Los Angles working with an award-winning producer to bring his submission to life.
