West Nipissing residents can see firsthand all day Thursday how fire-fighters free people trapped in their vehicles. Delegates from the Firefighters Association of Ontario conference in West Nipissing have auto extraction demonstrations all day. The location is Lafond Towing and Recovery on Toulouse Crescent. Another public activity is the firefighter games this Saturday and Sunday at Goulard Park. The park is also the site for a trade and craft show. One of the highlights on Sunday is the Memorial Parade. That’s when the firefighters from across the province taking part in the conference march to the Cenotaph. The event runs from 10:00am to 11:30am.
