Sturgeon Falls will be run over by fire fighters this weekend. But they’re not rushing to any fires. West Nipissing is once again holding the Fire Fighters Association of Ontario Conference. Mayor Joanne Savage says residents can expect a lot of fire fighters from many parts of the province. The Mayor also says the conference is a reality once again because of all the work the fire department has done. However, it’s not all work and no play. The firefighters will also have time to get in some golfing, fishing and ATV’ing as well as other activities like a river cruise and museum tour. The eight day conference kicks off Sunday and runs into the following Monday.
