Three separate collisions in Northeastern Ontario Monday kill three people

Three people have died in separate collisions across Northeastern Ontario all on the same day.  An 18-year-old girl died south of North Bay when she lost control of her vehicle and it slammed into a tree.  This happened Monday morning.  Also Monday morning, there was a fatal crash in Wikwemikong on Manitoulin Island then Monday afternoon the driver of an SUV died when his vehicle crashed into a pick-up truck on Highway 17 near Mattawa.  The region might have a fourth death.  There’s still no sign of a Mattawa man who went swimming in the Ottawa River on Saturday and got swept away by a strong current.  Divers are still looking for the man.
