North Bay Police say, "If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't…"

If it’s too good to be true, it probably isn’t. That’s what North Bay Police are reminding residents as another phone scammer plagues the city. This one claims to be from Canadian tire, and tells the target that they have won a free vacation. The scammer then asks for the person’s credit card information in exchange for their big prize. Police say if you receive a similar call, hang up, and report the telephone number to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
