A tree planting ceremony as part of the Canada 150 celebrations in West Nipissing is taking place this morning. Local dignitaries including Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre will be on hand.
A maple tree will be planted outside of the municipal building to commemorate the occasion, and it begins at 8:30am.
