Police deal with thefts in Sturgeon Falls

West Nipissing police are dealing with a couple of thefts in Sturgeon Falls.  Inspector Ray St. Pierre says one incident took place at a residential construction site.   The owner of a home under construction told police someone made off with some of the lumber being used to build the house.  Police are looking for the culprit.   In the second case, a man was arrested for putting items from a convenience store in a bag and leaving without paying.  Police found him a short while later in a drunken state.  The man is charged with theft under five thousand dollars.
