It’s the end of school, and for eight teachers it’s their last day teaching for Near North District School Board. Eight secondary teachers have been laid off, after a 7 per cent decline in enrollment in the coming year. The board is cutting their budget to trying and balance the decline. More cuts could be in the school board’s future.
