4th Annual Verner to Lavigne Relay A Success Despite Weather

Despite the rainy weather and threats of thunderstorms, it was a 4th consecutive successful Verner To Lavigne Relay for Life over the weekend. Over $2700 was raised by 22 participants including two local volunteer firefighters, Caroline Marx and Cynthia Guindon who wore their full gear to walk, run or roll the 13 kilometer distance between the Verner Library and Camp Castaway in Lavigne. Organizers were very pleased and are planning something bigger and better than ever for next year’s 5th anniversary of the event.
