104 teams of visiting and local anglers braved the rain and threats of thunderstorms at the Sturgeon River House Museum this past Saturday for the Sturgeon Falls Curling Club’s Annual Top 50 Pike Fishing Tournament. The 22nd annual event winners included the First place father and son team of Shawn and Shaun Remillard who also won biggest overall fish at 82.8 cms , biggest fish youth, and the Family or Youth team category for a total of over $7000.00 for the Remillards. Funds raised this year will go towards much-needed repairs to the Curling Club.
