The Northern Ontario Party says its goal in next June’s election is to give northerners back their province. The party says government practices keeps northerners from sharing in the wealth. It says Northern Ontario has the potential to become a wealthy region. However the only ones reaping the rewards are the main political parties, the interest groups that support them and government bureaucrats. The NOP says by electing Northern Ontario Party candidates in all 11 northern ridings, the north will have a strong voice in the GTA.
