West Nipissing will be busy at the end of July. That’s when the West Nipissing Fire Department holds its Firefighters Association of Ontario conference in Sturgeon Falls. Mayor Joanne Savage says the locals gain a lot from the conference including engaging in training exercises with other departments. She adds there are also competitions and everts are also geared for family participation. The conference runs from July 30th to August 7th.
