Don’s Butcher Shop is once again open for business. A downtown fire last July destroyed the original store along with several other businesses and apartments. Don Leblanc told the Moose he wasn’t sure if he would re-open, but public demand for the service got him to open the shop again. Leblanc says the former employees are back and customers will notice a change in service. Leblanc says customers are served one on one. Entry to the butcher shop is through Don’s Pub at 172 King Street. Don’s Butcher Shop is open seven days a week from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
