A vehicle stop in Sturgeon Falls has resulted in quite a few charges against a man including assaulting police and resisting arrest. West Nipissing police say when the man was stopped, the investigating officer discovered that he was a suspended driver. Rather than give up, the man tried closing his vehicle door and hit the police officer’s arm. Police have also charged the man with driving while suspended and possession of a controlled substance.
