Seventy-eight low-income earners in North Bay got their income tax done free of charge this year. The free filings are the result of a program the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario carry out each year. The organization has provided the free service for 46 straight years and it will be back again next year. To be eligible, the total household income has to be under $30,000 with dependants or $20,000 without dependants.
