More fishing convictions involving Blanche River

Fishing during the off season on a river near Lake Temiskaming has proven costly for two Englehart men.  The men caught and hid three walleye only four days before the start of the walleye season on the Blanche River.  Conservation Officers have been staking out the river after several complaints about the off season fishing activity.  The river is a major migration and spawning area for walleye.  Once caught and charged, the men were fined $1,000 each.
