A Sturgeon Falls man has been fined $3,500 for illegally hunting moose. Marcel Trepanier shot the female moose near Marten River during November of 2014. Then a Windsor-area man attached his game seal to the dead cow and drove it back to his home in Amherstburg. This man was fined $2,000 for putting a seal on a moose someone else had killed. Both men were also banned from hunting for the next two years.
