Garbage cans around downtown West Nipissing have been painted and decorated with Canada 150 decals ahead of the celebrations in July. Mayor Joanne Savage says people can thank Yvon Renaud and other volunteers for the work they’ve done.
She added they’re also going to get additional decals from the West Nipissing Police about the stoop and scoop. Savage says it’s amazing to see downtown given a facelift, and at the same time it’s important for people to respect the by-laws.
