A woman called West Nipissing Police earlier this week to report an ex-boyfriend trying to break into her house. Inspector St. Pierre says police responded to the call about a home on Main Street where they found the man had entered.
He says no assault took place but the man did force the door open, damaging it as well as the locking system. St. Pierre says he’s now facing a charge of mischief.
