It`s still a few months away but if you enjoy music, keep August 26th in mind. That`s when the annual Lavigne Music Festival takes place this year and the event features female performers of several genres. The headliner is Canadian country star Lisa Brokop. During her 20 year career, Brokop has landed more than a dozen Top 40 hits and you can count gold records among those hits. Back for a return engagement are the Ladies in Waiting Collective.
Several performers are making a first time appearance including Mimi O`Bonsawin and rockabilly performer Ginger St. James and the Grinders. Wristbands go on sale in a few weeks and the outdoor event takes place in Lavigne.
