A domestic disturbance in Sturgeon Falls has led to an assault charge. West Nipissing police got a call from a woman telling them her boyfriend first pushed her onto a couch and then started choking her. Inspector Ray St. Pierre says the investigating officer found bruise marks on the woman`s neck. The boyfriend was taken into custody and charged with assault.
