(Update from earlier story below)
Three men have been arrested by West Nipissing Police Service following a home invasion early Thursday morning. Police arrested one suspect near the scene and the search for the other two continued throughout the morning. Two other men were arrested prior to 9:00 am and all three are being held in custody in connection with the home invasion.
The victim was transported to the West Nipissing General Hospital and is being treated for serious but not life threatening injuries.

(earlier story) Several Sturgeon Falls residents noticed an increased police presence in Sturgeon Falls’ downtown core, in the John St area this morning. WNPS Chief Chuck Seguin says that after a report of an overnight home invasion they have one person in custody and are looking for two others. Seguin adds that although it’s an ongoing investigation there is no immediate threat to the public.
