A man in Sturgeon Falls is looking at charges after an argument with his spouse. Inspector Ray St. Pierre says the couple had been having marriage problems when the call came in. During the incident, another person’s vehicle was damaged. Police charged the man for mischief in connection with the vehicle and assault Meanwhile police have also charged a man with assault, forcible confinement and mischief after a domestic argument in Field escalated. Inspector Ray St. Pierre says a man and woman were arguing and during the exchange, the man stopped the woman from leaving. St. Pierre says he pushed her and disabled her cell phone by removing the battery so that she couldn’t call police. However police were eventually contacted and laid the charges.
