Police lay charges in credit card theft

West Nipissing police have laid charges after a Sturgeon Falls businessman had his credit card stolen.  Inspector Ray St. Pierre says the man went to work and left his wallet in his car.  Several hours later he learned things weren’t right with his credit card.  St. Pierre says when he got home, he got a surprise phone call from the credit card company telling him about suspicious activity involved the local purchase of four items.  It’s not known how much money was put on the credit card.  Police have charged two people with possession of a stolen credit card and possession of property obtained by crime.
