A 23-year-old man who transported a load of marijuana from Sturgeon Falls to Greater Sudbury in July of 2015 has plead guilty to possession for the purpose of trafficking. Chase Gour-Boyd had been arrested after Greater Sudbury Police officers received a tip in June of that year that he would be the one transporting the pot.
A search after his arrest turned up four and a half kilograms of marijuana. Gour-Boyd received a one-year conditional sentence, which will consist of six months of house arrest followed by six months with a curfew.
