The provincial government has announced a plan to help local graduates gain hands-on, practical work experience by supporting one-year internships in the Greater Sudbury area. MPP Glenn Thibeault made the announcement yesterday.
The program is funded by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation, and $2.9-million will be invested in the program with more than 100 organizations are participating. 117 people in the area will be provided work experience and skills-building opportunities in local placements.
