Timiskaming-Cochrane MPP John Vanthof in North Bay on Friday and he’ll be talking about rail transportation. Vanthof is expected to address the Liberal decision a few years ago to cancel the Northlander. The NDP have said for years that for the north to grow, it needs affordable and reliable infrastructure like passenger rail. Vanthof will meet with college and university students as well as the general public who used to rely on the Northlander.
