The population in Sturgeon Falls grew almost two percent since 2011. The latest census from Stats Canada shows that 6,798 people call Sturgeon Falls home which is 126 more residents from 2011. As a municipality, West Nipissing also grew since the last census. Overall, the municipality added 215 people taking the total population to 14, 364.
