Some members of West Nipissing council have new roles. Mayor Joanne Savage says councillor Leo Malette is the new deputy mayor and also in charge of health. In addition, Normand Roberge is council’s rep on D-SSAB and now chairs planning while Denise Brisson takes over community services. One sees councillor Guy Fortier take over general government while Jamie Restoule is now on the police board and also the chair of protection to person and property.
