An 18-year-old Sturgeon Falls man has been arrested by police following a violent incident earlier this week. Police received a complaint from a young woman who was confronted by a man on Clark Street.
The man grabbed her by the arm, punched her in the face, which knocked her down and then he stole her cell phone and lighter. She tried to get her stuff back from the man, but she was knocked down again and this time the man took off running.
He`s facing three charges, one count of robbery, one count of resisting arrest, and one count of failing to reply with a recognizance.
