This is the time of season when thieves break into cottages, camps and boathouses because they’ve been shut down until spring. And thieves have made their presence known in Temiskaming by hitting and robbing at least 18 buildings on Lake Temagami during December. That rash of thefts has OPP giving the public tips on how to better secure their recreational home.
