Markstay-Warren gets money to improve ability access

Life will get a little easier for disabled people who live in Markstay-Warren when dealing with the community’s infrastructure.  Thanks to a federal grant of just more than $25,000, the municipal office will now have a larger entrance plus the doors will be equipped with automatic openers.  The money will also help build a service desk that’s a bit lower to the floor so that it’s accessible to more people.  The money came from Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre who announced the grant at the municipal offices in Markstay-Warren on Tuesday.
