The labour dispute pitting Children`s Aid Society workers in the Nipissing-Parry Sound District against management continues. The employees remain off work after mediation talks broke down. The CAS`s executive director, Gisele Hebert says management improved many offers since both sides last met. Hebert says this includes moving on sick leave benefits which was a critical issue. Hebert says management is willing to resume talks but so far there`s no indication that both sides will sit down again. The employees were locked out December 23rd.
