A Sudbury man faces charges after he drove off in a pick-up truck without the owner`s permission and crashed the vehicle in North Bay. The man left Sudbury in an intoxicated state and got as far as North Bay where he ran into a sign in front of a business causing extensive damage to the vehicle. The 22-year-old is charged with motor vehicle theft, driving without a license and having more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. The young man was also dinged with drug possession because when North Bay police responded to the crash, they found some marijuana on him.
