The Ontario Council of Hospital Unions is getting support from a Northern Ontario New Democrat for cleaner hospitals. The labour group released a report saying hospitals are not as clean as they should be and Gilles Bisson agrees. Gilles Bisson of Timmins-James Bay, says hospitals need to be bacteria free because the last thing we need is to make the patients sicker. He says what’s needed from the provincial government is more money and not less. The hospital council is on a 20-city tour of the province sounding the alarm bell that hospitals are not as clean as they should.
