Police in Sault Ste. Marie are significantly increasing the value of a drug bust in their city. Police say once the cocaine they seized is cut into grams for distribution, the street value jumps to as high as $300,000. The initial street value of the coke in its uncut form was about $60,000. The bust also produced hash oil and hundreds of prescription pills with a combined value of nearly $11,000. Police also confiscated $18,000 in cash. Four people who were under investigation for a four month period were swept up in the raid and face drug-related charges.
