West Nipissing police have charged a man after a domestic disturbance in Sturgeon Falls. Inspector Ray St. Pierre says the incident between a man and woman was violent. He says the woman was hit across the face, was pinned down and her moth was covered. A man is charged with overcoming resistance, assault and uttering threats. Meanwhile police are also looking into a residential break-in in Sturgeon Falls where thieves stole a TV set and jewelry.
