Police in Sudbury and the United Kingdom combined forces to charge an Englishman with child pornography offences. Undercover cops in Sudbury secretly monitoring an overseas chat room discovered a man talking about sexual offences against children. The Sudbury cyber-crime unit passed the information onto the National Crime Agency in London, England. The U.K. agency then worked with police in Derbyshire where the man was holding his chat room discussions and made an arrest. Sudbury police say it’s this kind of international police cooperation that will help keep kids safe.
