Orazietti quitting provincial politics

The Wynne Liberals have lost a cabinet minister and the long-time MPP for Sault Ste. Marie.  David Orazietti announced mid-afternoon Friday that he’s leaving provincial politics at the end of the month.  The only reason the 48-year-old gave is he wants to spend more time with his family.   Orazietti made the announcement at his constituency office in the Sault.  He’s been the Sault MPP for 13 years serving under both former Premier Dalton McGuinty and Premier Kathleen Wynne.  Orazietti is the province’s Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
