Radiothon raises double earlier estimate

It’s a stunning finish to the Stocking the Shelves radiothon held at the Moose studio in Sturgeon Falls last Friday.  Final numbers show that $7,500 in food was donated to the West Nipissing Food Bank as well as close to $2,600 in cash.  That easily doubles the early estimate of $4,500 in food and cash.  Claudette LeRoy, the director of the food bank, confirmed the final tally and passed the information onto the Moose.
