Radiothon success

More than $4,500 in cash and food was raised during the Moose FM Stocking the Shelves radiothon in Sturgeon Falls.  A big donation at $500 came from the Caisse Populaire and its employees to end the 12 hour event last Friday. The Moose kicked things off with a $50 cheque from councillor Guilles Tessier.   All the cash and food goes to the West Nipissing Food Bank.  This was the third year Moose FM in West Nipissing has hosted the radio-thon.  Moose is owned by Vista Radio and across the country all the Vista stations combined raised more than $1 million for various charities.
