It’s a big weekend for West Nipissing native Mitch Gagnon. After a two year hiatus from mixed martial arts because of knee surgery, Gagnon jumps back into the octagon Saturday night. Despite the lack of fights, Gagnon has kept in shape during his recovery by working out once or twice daily. Gagnon, who has a record of 12-3, goes up against 8-1 Matthew Lopez. Gagnon says his strategy with Lopez will be to get him to make mistakes by keeping him under constant pressure. The UFC event takes place in Toronto on Saturday.
