The two people who died when a van crashed into their car Tuesday night near Massey were both from Elliot Lake. Dead are the driver who was 41 and a 44-year-old passenger in the front seat. Two 16-year old teens survived and have serious but non-life threatening injuries. One is from Elliot Lake and the other is from Espanola. The driver of the van, a 71-year-old man from Etibicoke, also has serious but non-life threatening injuries. Police are still investigating why the van crossed the centre line in front of the car.
