Debris falling from an overpass in Lively and landing on a sunroof of a passing vehicle has slightly injured a nine-year-old girl. The girl was cut on the neck by the broken glass and her parents say the injury wasn’t too bad but are worried that it could have been worse. The cracked sunroof is one of two known cases of falling debris damaging vehicles although no one was hurt in the second incident. Now Nickel Belt MPP France Gelinas wants to know if anyone else was hit by rocks or debris from the bridge. If you were, call her office at 969-3621. Gelinas has talked to the Ministry of Transportation to ensure the bridge is safe to on. She also wants to tell the ministry if anyone else was hit with debris.
