A couple of off-duty firefighters in Sudbury caught a man trying to rob two women. The robber accosted the women in a parking lot and tried taking one of their purses and car keys. The firefighters saw what was happening and stepped in. They held the man until police arrived. The man is charged with robbery with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and obstructing a peace officer.
