The Hospital Foundation Equipment Fund at the West Nipissing General is a big winner. The foundation is getting nearly $15,500 from the volunteer firefighters following another Pink T-shirt campaign. The West Nipissing firefighters raise money for the foundation every October as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month. This year’s money will be applied toward the purchase of a new digital X-ray machine. The firefighters were hoping to raise $13,000 but blew that number out of the park with this year’s effort.
