Royal Agricultural Fair starts this week

Northern Ontario businesses get some great exposure beginning in just a few days.   Friday is the start of the annual Royal Agricultural Fair in Toronto, an event that attracts 320,000 spectators.   Part of the fair features a 7,000 square foot building known as the Northern Ontario Pavilion which is home to about 50 northern agriculture and equine businesses.  The pavilion is covered in part by FedNor and this is the 16th year that the federal agency has been involved in the agriculture fair.   The Liberal MP for Nipissing-Timiskaming, Anthony Rota, says the event lets northern entrepreneurs make contact with the south which can lead to higher sales. The 10-day event runs until November 13th.
