The driver of an SUV who killed two pedestrians crossing a busy North Bay street won’t face any charges. After an exhaustive investigation, North Bay police have determined the elderly couple crossed in front of the SUV. Police say the driver was not speeding nor was he distracted in anyway like talking on a cell phone. May’s accident seriously injured an 80-year-old man and 74-year-old woman. The couple later died in hospital as a result of their injuries.
