West Nipissing police are looking into a couple of thefts in Sturgeon Falls. Inspector Ray St. Pierre says the first incident doesn’t involve your normal run-of-the-mill artifacts thieves would steal. The theft saw large metal sheeting or roofing material disappear. St. Pierre says in this case the thieves would need a vehicle to drive away with the stolen goods considering the size and quantity involved. The second theft involves a couple of people making off with merchandise from a local business without paying. St. Pierre says police are looking for the culprits.
