Economic Partners Sudbury East West Nipissing Inc. has an open house Friday to cap off small business week in the municipality. General Manager Neil Fox says the event is something the organization does every year to thank local businesses, funding agencies and financial institutions. Fox says the open house started eight years ago and it’s gotten bigger over the years. During the first year about 10 people showed up and last year Fox says the turnout was more like 70 guests. Fox says the open house lets people talk about what’s on their minds in a less formal setting. The event takes place at the West Nipissing Information Centre and runs from 11:30am to 2:00pm Friday.
